Classic cars have outperformed all the traditional investments over the last ten years. In fact they have proved remarkable for the last thirty years, beating property, gold, wine, stocks and shares, to name but a few.
Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014 and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years. Ready to make an investment you can actually enjoy?

Green Credentials?

There is nothing more 'Green' than running a classic car because you are not running off to the showrooms to buy yet another new sheet metal car off some production line every two years. You are also making your asset last thereby saving you the huge cost of depreciation which is the single biggest issue when running a modern car. Road tax , insurance and service costs are also likely to be far less as well.

Bugatti Veyrons spotted by Car Consultant in London
Not one or even two Bugatti Veyrons but no less than three in a row in Knightsbridge London blatantly parked on double yellows (who cares about a parking fine when the collective value exceeds £4M ) . Two were Geneva registered the other Gibraltar registered.
We know Lidl's are a progressive company but look what's on offer at our local Dartmouth branch. A mint 1965 Series 1 4.2 fixed head E Type Jaguar. Estimated value today c.£60-70k

Visiting Chairman of German Rolls Royce & Bentley Club in Dartmouth

We had the great fortune to bump into Dr Axel Zogbaum and a few of his travelling Rolls and Bentley club members on a recent tour of the Westcountry. Here he is standing alongside his utterly magnificent vintage Bentley before departing Blackpool Sands for Looe in Cornwall.
Amazing how Lidl's has diversified. Look what you can get now
My very own classic for the last nineteen years, an extremely rare Landrover 90 County V8 petrol with only 38000 mile from new, 20k of which I did.
Utterly original factory paint, interior and engine never out. I take it to annual shows and that is about it.
